Animal Wellness is holding their first Massage Course for the year! This 2-day course will teach participants how to employ calming techniques at home and in the veterinary setting, as well as massage techniques to aid in patient rehabilitation, pain-management, and post-operative care. Topics include remedial massage, physical therapy, and acupressure. Participants will be able to practice on live Greyhounds during the course!
This 2 day course is an intensive weekend on therapeutic massage for pets + people, ideally suited to dedicated pet owners, remedial massage therapists, dog groomers/walkers, vets, vet students and vet nurses.. Therapeutic massage aids rehabilitating an animal following cruciate, spinal, abdominal or any orthopedic surgical procedure. It also teaches owners and their dogs to relax and be calm, which is important in any dog training.
